Fashion Revolution Week

Fashion Revolution Week

The 18 – 24 April 2016 is Fashion Revolution Week - it’s a time for us all to question who is making our clothes – transparency is king girls!

#fashrev started as a response to the devastation in Bangladesh in 2013 when 1,134 garment workers were killed and more than 2,500  injured when the Rana Plaza complex collapsed in Dhaka. Fashion Revolution Week asks us to think about who is making our clothing to promote fair and safe conditions for all. It is asking consumers to question the labels they wear and asks the businesses behind the labels to make sure any worker they employ directly or indirectly are being taken care of.

We are proud to be part of this positive movement, to work with fabulous and talented makers in the Australian manufacturing industry, we are proud to be accredited by Ethical Clothing Australia and we are super proud of the women we dress. Here are some shots of our fabulous makers and our team who makes our Good Day Girl made to order world happen.
